Having Trouble Getting Recognized? Here's the Reason...

Have you found yourself wondering why you aren't getting more recognition in your network marketing opportunity? Why hasn't anyone noticed the efforts you've poured into your enterprise?

As many venture into the home business industry, they normally base their decision for joining on all the positives that are presented to them, and nothing else. This, in my opinion, is why the attrition rate in MLM models is so high.

A pretty picture is painted that's jam-packed with lucrative incomes, part-time work schedules, results born from little to no effort, revolutionary compensation plans, and the ability to reach a top-level leadership position that leads to recognition and attention.

But the other side of the business...the rejections, the learning curves, and the actual WORK that's involved, are conveniently left out of the equation.

You don't sell a car by showcasing the recalls, but don't you think the buyer should know about them? Of course they should. Therefore, as an effective leader, you should be sharing all aspects of your business opportunity in the most honest and up-front of ways. This builds trust, allows your prospect to make a well-informed decision, and doesn't fill their head with false hope.

Unfortunately, there's too much of that in network marketing today.

It's no wonder people seek attention and recognition without doing anything to get it.

By nature, humans crave the spotlight. Thus, their creativity is fueled by recognition, even if it's at the smallest of levels. It feels great for someone to notice something you've done. But in order for that to happen, you have to actually DO SOMETHING. There's simply no other way around it.

You want to be recognized? You need to call your leaders and show them you accomplished all the daily goals you set for yourself. Don't call them and complain about lack of time or things not going your way. No leader wants to hear that, and chances are, you're not receiving any recognition from them because you're projecting too much "negative energy."

Leaders gravitate to other leaders and do not waste their time listening to complaints. Myself and the leaders I associate with will do everything in our power to help someone who's willing to learn from their mistakes and overcome past failures. But most leaders do not have enough hours in their day to listen to someone blame anything and everything but themselves for a lack of results.

You want to be recognized? Go out there and do something good and positive that will lead to results. The results don't have to be instant, but they need to be a step in that direction.

This is all about mindset and flipping the way you're used to thinking. The vast majority of people find it much easier to complain about a problem instead of finding a solution. Why? Because the solution is outside their comfort zone.

To be an effective leader, you have to be willing to push the boundaries of your comfort zone every single day. And I promise you, if you do that, you'll start achieving better results.

And those results will ultimately lead to the recognition you've earned.
